7 Day’s of Devotion

Welcoming you into this sacred space Dear One

It is a delight to welcome you into this seven-day container. Thank you choosing to be apart of this experience. I honour the commitment you've made to yourself by being here.

Over the next seven days, we'll be exploring what becomes possible when we consciously redirect our energy, time and attention towards what truly matters to us.

This isn't simply about abstaining from a habit or breaking an old pattern. It's about creating space for something else to take root — whether that's your creative work, your spiritual practice, a personal intention, or simply being more present in your everyday life.

As we move through this week together, I invite you to approach the experience with curiosity, compassion and a willingness to learn about yourself. Let’s leave aside perfection, and choose to show up everyday with an earnestness to meet what arises within and without each day. Throughout our time together, you will be encouraged to pay attention to where your energy goes, and the invitation is to reconnect with your intention, again and again, and practise the art of returning to what you've chosen to devote yourself to. Calling forth the Divine Warrior preparing her arrow for the target.

Let these seven days be an opportunity to show up for yourself and become intimate with life in a deeper and slower way. 🤍

Choosing their protective plant ally

Please choose a plant ally to accompany you throughout the seven days. This is an opportunity to develop a conscious relationship with a plant and explore what it represents or brings into their awareness. I highly encourage you to choose a plant they're already drawn to, feel curious about, or have an existing relationship with.

  • Possible examples: rose, cacao, nettle, coffee, lotus or another plant that feels meaningful to them. If you have prior experience with micro-dosing mushrooms or huachuma, these plants are also welcome in the space.

  • I warmly invite you to spend a little time researching your chosen plant, learning about its qualities, history and traditional associations, while remaining respectful of the cultures and traditions it comes from. Treat this with a beginners mindset and allow yourself to rediscover enchantment through your research. I encourage you to consider what you are inviting this plant to remind them of or support you with during your commitment.

What does “protective plant” mean?

On my own journey with the plants, for me they are somewhat like an elder, whom I can seek guidance or comfort from. Perhaps you get a sense for your plant as an anchor that can reminder you of your intention, or a companion you consciously return to when old habits arise. I invite you to create a simple relationship with their plant throughout the week — spending time with it, journalling about it or keeping it somewhere visible (on your altar, screensaver, etc)

You don't need to consume or ingest the plant. Working with it symbolically or through observation is equally welcome.

  • If anyone does choose to ingest or use a plant, I encourage you to check its safety, contraindications and interactions with medication first. Some plants are not safe to consume, and traditional use doesn't automatically mean a plant is safe for everyone. If you are unsure, feel free to reach out to me. If working with plants is new, I would recommend Rose or Cacao as a companion for this journey.

Choosing YOUR seven-day SANKALPA (INTENTION)

  • Please identify the habit or tendency that you want to step back from.

  • Consider what you would like to make space for instead.

Take a moment to contemplate or journal to feel into a realistic intention.

    For example:

    • Less scrolling, more time creating.

    • Less habitual distraction, more presence with loved ones.

    • Less avoidance, more time devoted to a personal project.

    • Less rushing, more consistent morning practice.

    • Less obsessing about the future, more resting into presence.

Your intention should feel meaningful to you, not like another obligation imposed on yourself.

5. Preparing for the opening ceremony

We will have two live calls together, I will send you a google meet link for the gatherings.

4 and 11th November

7pm Irish time

  • Please prepare a quiet space, a journal, water, and their chosen plant or a representation of it.

  • Please choose an appropriate offering for our opening ceremony, this could be a piece of fruit.

  • Feel free to arrive just as you are - radically yourself, with an open mind and without pressure to have everything figured out.

6. How to approach the week

  • You will receive a curated music playlist and short daily sadhana to help anchor your practice.

  • I encourage you to choose a regular time to reconnect with your sankalpa / intention each day.

  • You are so welcome to share reflections, insights, struggles, breakthroughs, sacred moments with one another within the whats app community group.

  • This is not about getting everything right, let go of the pressure to be the absolute highest version of yourself in every single moment. If you do slip into an old habit, you can simply notice it and return to your intention. Give yourself the grace whilst aiming your arrow.

  • Your commitment is to practise returning, not to perform perfectly.

You are not just giving something up for seven days. You are choosing what you want to give your energy to, and inviting a plant ally to accompany you in that devotion.
